Camis…chances are you have one hanging in your closet or kicking around in your dresser. But how do you wear it? Perhaps you got it for a specific purpose (e.g. to put under a sheer top), or perhaps you’ve discovered other ways to wear it. Either way, tonight I hope to introduce you to a some new ways for how to style a cami.

But first–how adorable is this cami? I found it last week and fell in love with its layers and unique high-low hem. It’s available in five colors but the light pink is my favorite. While I’m styling it relatively simply here, I can’t wait to wear it under a cardigan or blazer for work, or throw on under a denim jacket; the interesting hem makes it the perfect layering cami. A typical cami’s detail is lace at the top which serves to add interest. This cami achieves the same thing, but in a much more unique way via the layered hemline. (Side note- this cami runs slightly large; for reference, I am wearing an XS and I typically wear an S).
Ok, and now for my favorite ways to style a cami:
1. Under blazer paired with a brightly-colored pair of cropped dress pants for the perfect Spring office vibe
2. Paired with a classic denim jacket and distressed black or white jeans
3. Under a bomber jacket (as mentioned here, bombers aren’t my personal style, but if it’s yours a cami is the perfect feminine counterpoint this menswear-inspired style)
4. Under a utility jacket
5. Paired with a fun pair of embroidered shorts like these
What’s your favorite way to wear a cami and what would you add to the list above? Let me know in the comments below! By the way, just so ya’ll know- it makes my day when I see comments from you! <3
I hope you all have a great night. I am up way too late trying to get this Monday post out, and now it’s actually Tuesday morning anyway. :/ I got into Harrisburg, PA at about 9:30 tonight for meetings tomorrow and had a 35 minute drive to my hotel. When I got here, the internet was hiccuping and I had to call down for a cable. Long story short, this girl needs to have a few posts ready to hit “publish” for evenings like this!
XO,
Terra
