Happy Super Bowl weekend! Boy, what a crazy comeback for the Patriots! And who else enjoyed the halftime show? Hearing the Lady’s songs from 2009-2010 brought me back to my California days when the radio played her nonstop. We’ve both evolved a lot since then!
I took Juliana to a friend’s baby shower earlier and because Charlotte weather was perfect I swapped my regular jeans for a fun skirt. I love a fringe skirt because all you have to do is throw on a neutral top, and voila: a head-turning ensemble! I find white/black/grey/cream tops work best with a fringe skirt, and I’d been wanting to wear this adorable trumpet sleeve tee. To finish the look I paired it with my go-to Kendra Scott neutral statement necklace and the most comfortable Cole Haan heels. I got these babies at Nordstrom Rack in 2014 and they have held up incredibly well! I highly recommend Cole Haan for classic, comfortable, well-made footwear. I actually just found the very same ones on the Cole Haan Outlet site for under $60!! I went ahead and linked below.
I think next time I’ll pair this skirt with a graphic tee in one of the colors I suggested above. How would you style this piece?
