Happy Wednesday! Whew, I’m glad we are halfway through the week. I love my job but these last few weeks have been a blur of travel, meetings and trying to frantically catch up in between. I really can’t complain though because every trip ends with coming back to Juliana’s smiling face and the sweetest little reunion. Another reason I shouldn’t gripe–I just checked into the gorgeous Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando for a conference tomorrow. Catching up on work at a thatched hut poolside bar and grill? Not too shabby!
It feels like summer in Florida; although I shot this look yesterday it would have been appropriate for right about now–lightweight, cool, but still oh-so Fall:
I got this dress the other week and haven’t been able to get enough of it. The fit is super flattering, it’s crazy comfortable, and the ruffles/off shoulder/buttons make it playful and unique. I’ve thrown it on when rushing out the door; I love that it’s an outfit by itself with just a pair of nude sandals!
With Charlotte weather being unpredictable, I have a feeling I’ll get a lot more wear out of it this way in the next month. For cooler evenings and mornings it is adorable with an olive jacket layered over it.
Once winter hits I plan on pairing it with a heavier jacket, boots and tights. I can’t wait to dress this versatile little number so many different ways!
