Lately I’ve been getting feedback you’d like to see more work wear outfits from me. It’s funny, because that’s one of the things I kept telling myself I needed to do, so long story short I’m thankful for your little push! ๐
Since I work from a home office when I’m not meeting with accounts, most of what I wear tends to be pretty casual. I do have to dress up maybe once a week for meetings though, so I’m going to start documenting and sharing those outfits with you!
Lately one of my favorite places to shop for work wear has been LOFT. Depending on where you shop, it’s so easy to fall into a boring rut with work wear and I love that LOFT is constantly coming out with thoughtful, on trend work wear options at reasonable prices. I picked up this tweed skirt last Saturday and wore it to meetings today. It’s a great transiton piece for Fall because of the tweed, but the color is still Summer. I think the comfort level is the reason I picked it up though- it has a hidden elastic waist with the right amount of stretch!
The tassel top is from LOFT too and I’m linking a few other options below I think would pair just as well with the skirt!
When it comes to work appropriate shoes, I swear by a well made, stylish yet comfortable pair of nude pumps and these are just that. I got them during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and they’re the first pair of pumps that required zero time to break in. I also love the studded trim for the detail it adds to an overall look.
I’ll be posting more work wear on Instagram as we head into Fall and Winter, so feel free to follow me there!
Love always,
Terra
I have to wear conservative work wear to an office everyday. I buy most all of my pants from Loft. Loft is great for work wear. Love how you styled this skirt. And I agree that a great pair of nude pumps is a work wear must.

Isn’t Loft terrific? I can’t believe it took me this long to discover them! Lol.
