Black Friday Sale Picks: Nordstrom & More

You may have noticed I shop quite a bit at Nordstrom. I love how they offer a wide assortment of brands ranging from designer to affordable, but everything seems to be vetted for quality. Anytime I go to their site I can  as easily find current trends as classic wardrobe staples. I’m a little obsesseed 🙂 and I’m stoked because their Black Friday sale has started! In addition to discounting individual items, Nordstrom is also matching the Black Friday sales the brands they carry are offering (e.g., Free People and Madewell) making their site an easy one-stop shop.

The key to shopping Black Friday + Cyber Monday sales is to know ahead of time what “holes” you want to fill in your closet and what items you truly need (I created a wardrobe essentials checklist here to help with that). I find if I don’t do that, it’s easy to get swept up in the discounts and purchase things I don’t need or won’t wear. In my picks below, I focused mostly on versatile pieces that can be styled several ways in hopes of sharing a helpful resource for shopping the sale.
