Mustard Yellow Sweater

Happy Thursday, gals! As I write this I’m sitting at our hotel in midtown Manhattan with Ridge and Juliana, getting ready to kick off New York Fashion Week. We drove in from Hershey Pennsylvania this afternoon (where I had meetings this morning) and it still feels a little surreal to be here…I am the luckiest girl in the world to have this opportunity! Because of the long day I didn’t get around to editing/brightening these photos and I am sorry they are a little dark (maybe it can pass for a moody Fall vibe?!).

I found this sweater at Express over Labor Day weekend and fell in love as soon as I tried it on. Mustard yellow is trending and it’s one of my favorite transition colors for Summer to Fall. I love the oversized fit and sized up to a medium to make it even larger/easy to wear off shoulder. The color makes it pop even with simple accessories so you don’t have to put much time into styling it (always a win in my book!). I can already tell I’ll be wearing it a lot this season and am tempted to get it in the oatmeal and olive colors, too.

On a different note, I’m so excited for NYFW week outfits and can’t wait to share them with you! My friend Helena and I will be shooting with Yash from Banavenue Saturday morning and I’ll be posting those looks here next week.
