I feel like I start every Friday post with a big old “Happy Friday” so rather than be trite let me instead say I hope your weekend is off to a great start! I took a quick trip to Denver this Wednesday/Thursday, so it was a long-short week for me. It had been a few years since I was last visited and I made a point to experience as much as I could while I was there. If you’re ever in the area and craving something sweet, you HAVE to head to D Bar. They seriously have the prettiest/most delectable desserts I’ve ever tried. For lunch on Thursday I checked out Avanti F&B because I heard it had fantastic views; the scenery didn’t disappoint and the food did not either. When I got home, there was a package waiting for me with this top. It was love at first sight, so I scrapped the beauty post I planned for tonight and grabbed a few quick shots with Ridge and Juliana on the way to dinner.

What I love most about this top is how light it is, which makes it a great alternative to a tank. I don’t know if it’s the pretty mint color, the adorable neckline, or the flowy sleeves, but I felt so amazing in it. Do you ever find a piece of clothing you fall in love with and just feel awesome every time you wear it? That’s me with this top. And the best part: it’s currently 40% off and on sale for $35. For reference, I am wearing a size S. Oh, and this style also comes in a really pretty floral print, which I was tempted to also get.
When it came to accessories I was going to stick with neutral earrings, but then realized the yellow in these tassels perfectly complemented the light green. Right now I’m totally obsessed with this stack of bracelets from BaubleBar, so I tried it on to see how it would go and I loved the way it paired. At this point my outfit had enough going on so I kept things neutral in the footwear and handbag departments.
Now it’s off to bed in an attempt to (finally) get 7-8 hours of sleep. Lately things have been so crazy I’ve been shortchanging sleep, which we all know is never a good thing! I’ve been using a lot more under eye concealer and upping my morning coffee from 2 to 3 cups…really need to turn this trend around!
