This past weekend our family stole away to Charleston, SC. I’d only visited once and Ridge had never, so it was an easy pick from options in driving distance. Yesterday we strolled the city and (aside from pulling Juliana’s stroller over stubborn cobblestones) it was incredible! The perfect weather made it easy to wander around and discover side streets adorned with breathtaking architecture. One such street we stumbled upon was Tradd Street. It runs perpendicular to the famous Rainbow Row- the brightly colored homes that line a section of East Bay Street- but I think it’s even more beautiful.
Dress (almost identical here for $44) // Bag (on sale!) // Hat // Wedges // Bracelets here and here // Ring
I’ve talked about these wedges before and not surprisingly they were on repeat this weekend. They’re so comfortable that I could walk in them for hours- even carrying Juliana at times. When we booked Charleston, I knew I wanted to bring this dress. It’s comfortable and lightweight but flirty and feminine and I thought fit perfectly with the Charleston aesthetic. To keep a cohesive look, I paired my dress with a cognac bag, belt and shoes. The hat was a fun but practical touch. If you’re looking for a floppy hat, it’s a wonderful choice- just the right amount of floppy and at $25 also a fantastic price.
I hope you have a wonderful week!
