Hey gals! I hope you are having a great Sunday–and that whatever football team you’re rooting for pulled through yesterday or pulls through today…unless of course you’re supporting the 49ers because I have to be honest and say I’m pretty invested in the Panthers! Juliana and I are having friends over to watch the game, which means we need to grocery shop stat because I have very little food in the house.
But before I jet off to the store in suburban mom style, I wanted to share the details on this fun and breezy weekend look. With the weather cooling off a bit, I was finally able to start layering this weekend. I love denim jackets because they go with almost anything and opted for a cropped version to contrast against this loose, flowy tank.
I paired the top and jacket combination with two of my favorite Kendra Scott pieces. You might have seen the arrowhead necklace in my last few posts–I love it so much and it goes with everything!
To keep the top/jacket/necklace combination as the focal point, I kept the rest of my look neutral. Yesterday was sunny so this hat was a functional accessory, and I like how the color similarity to these heels ties the outfit from top to bottom. (Side note-my hat is 40% off, super affordable and solid wool!) Every girl needs a pair of strappy nude heels but I’ve found most versions are pretty uncomfortable from the lack of side support (a big part of what makes them so cute and sexy). These shoes solve the dilemma with a stacked vs. stiletto heel and are surprisingly comfortable given their height! I also love that they are genuine suede. I could go on and on, but you get the point: these heels = AMAZING (insert heart eye emoji here). They are currently on sale at Nordstrom; some sizes have sold out, but if you order a different size, Nordstrom will allow you to exchange once they are restocked at no additional cost. These are a classic shoe and will be restocked when they are no longer on sale. 
I picked up this inexpensive bag that looks just like a Rebecca Minkoff the other weekend and have found it goes with almost anything. It’s a very light grey color, making it a great pick for beyond just the summer months.
